Featuring an oval faceted genuine natural ruby of approximately 5.485 to 5.5 carats unmounted, intense medium to dark transparent red, clarity SI1-SI-2, surrounded by 14 pear faceted diamonds, approximately 0.12 carats each, and six round brilliant diamonds, approximately 0.04 carats each, total diamond weight estimated at 1.92 carats, platinum mount, size 6, 7.8 grams, with appraisal and American Gemological Report CS 69762 small non-filled cavity approximately 1.5mm below the girdle plane, approximate size 2.9 to 1.0 mm., likely occurred during the faceting process, additional very small chips and cavities on the pavilion, from the pavilion side, minute surface rising fractures. Accompanied by AGL Report CS 69762 stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin with no indications of heat enhancement.
