Antique Persian Carpet

Possibly Kashan, dark blue field with broad borders, 10 ft. 4 in. x 17 ft. 4 in., medium to low pile with corduroy effect, areas of crease wear and possible minor moth damage, several patches (largest 3-1/2 x 3 in.), abrash, some fading to one end, selvedge breaks and tears including one 8 in. repair from selvedge edge, minor loss to one end, reddish stain (approximately 13 in. diameter), possible cat soiling residue, no apparent reductions found.

Room-Size Persian or Indian Carpet

Possibly a Tabriz, probably late 19th century, central medallion on pale blue/green ground, 14 ft. 4 in. x 12 ft. 11 in., generally low pile with corduroy effect with areas of foundation showing, areas of corrosion (especially to dark red) and moth damage, abrash throughout, two large cuts and repairs made at one edge (approximately 20 in., to accommodate architectural element), scattered small tears at each end, scattered small patches, one quarter-size hole.

Ziegler Sultanabad Carpet

Late 19th/early 20th century, brick red large central medallion and corner work on cobalt field, elaborate floral, vine and leaf designs, major border with repeating floral devices, green and red highlights, 9 ft. 9 in. x 13 ft., low pile, abrash, small repairs, reweaving at ends, no reductions found, extensive reweaving, especially at ends.

Finely Woven Isfahan Carpet

Early to mid-20th century, central medallion and elaborate floral designs on cobalt ground, light blue corner work, ivory, peach, and red highlights 8 ft. 8 in. x 11 ft. 3 in., generally uniform low pile, abrash, selvedge breaks, up to 1 in. end loss with later binding, no reduction found.
